My Tirbunal Result.

I had my ESA tribunal today, i represented myself and my son came along with me as he knows what i have been going through since i fell down the stairs and damaged my back. It went well even though i was a bit nervous because i hadn't gone through any thing that before now. I was awarded zero points on my medical back in April last year and today I won my tribunal, they awarded me 30 points. I am so over the moon about it.
Now ive won my tribunal does that mean i get put into the support group? and also do i receive the higher rate of ESA now?
I have no idea what happens now or what to expect.
Any help on these matters would be very helpful for me.
Kirsty

I forgot to ask also, do i still need to send in sick certificates like i have been doing or do i stop doing that now?0

The usual procedure is that eventually the papers will land back at your local benefit office who will look at the claim and decide on backdating any money including the Work Related Activity Group or Support Group components of ESA. The usual wait seems to be a minimum of 3 weeks though you may be lucky and it happens quicker.
Have you continued to receive ESA at the assessment rate since you appealed? If so it's just a case of the DWP deciding which group to place you in and then working out any arrears that are due to you.0 -

Thank you to you both.Yes i have continued to receive payments at the assessment rate since i appealled. I will still send in my sick notes until i hear back from DWP. I will phone them maybe end of next week to see if they have received the notification from the Tribunal service and then ask them about the sick notes then.
Thank you again.0
