Hi,

Not sure if it's possible, I'm wanting to insure myself on my girlfriends car just for tomorrow, I'm 20 years old though, and can't find anything online. Just one day insurance needed.

Thanks,

Antony

Adding you to her policy will be the cheapest option.

One way of doing it is to pay £20 for an HPI check, which will then allow you to get 7 days free 'driveaway' insurance with Norwich Union. I did this when I bought my current car, I'm 18.

It's a good wheeze, but only works for insuring a car you own. The OP wants to drive his friend's car.

Ah I didn't know that bit. OP should get his gf to do this then, and put him as a named driver on the 7 days insurance.

    £20 for 7 days = £2.85 per day = £1045 per year...

See where i'm going with this? ;)

Which company did you do the HPI through?
Nothing I say represents any past, present or future employer.
