I had trouble moving my site last month, I only managed it because the new host said "sign up, we do it for you". Signed up, then found out I had to find out how to make a copy of my site and get it to them!! Didn't know how to do that.

Then, I had no Internet either. Had to borrow a laptop and an Internet connection - but the database was 4GB in size, it would've taken me days to download/upload it, luckily my then host zipped it up for me and turned it into a manageable .rar which I then uploaded to the new host and they did the installation/restore from those backups.

The thought of moving my whole site again fills me with dread (I don't have internet, I have a dongle - and that is unreliable, lost entire Internet when their system died and was awaiting an upgrade so they weren't even going to fix it).

Oh - and the other reason I am loathe to change servers is my last host migrated my site and it died - they couldn't get it working. New host specialises in the type of site I have, and they have it working. If I moved it to somewhere without DNN hosting, then I'd be completely at sea (even more so), without tech support understanding DNN.

I also wanted the site to be hosted in the UK as it holds member data (just name/email) but I wanted that data in the UK.
