Insects taking over - any help appreciated
I've been using an all-purpose bug and insect killer (wilkos), but my veg plants (in particular my courgette plants) are covered in little black insects. They are all over the flowers, and underneath the leaves as well. Does anyone know what they are and how I can get rid of them since my bug killer seems useless?
We also have loads of greenfly (probablly because I erradicated the massive ant problem we had previously) - is this likely to be related to the black things?

The bugs are pollen beetles, generally harmless in a domestic garden. They are normally on rape in farmers' fields, when rape is harvested they lose their home, so look for a new yellow house
Greenfly not related to pollen beetles, just you have a tasty garden [like my runners]When an eel bites your bum, that's a Moray0 -
Oh that's really interesting, thank you!
I suppose in a way I am glad that others are getting enjoyment out of my garden
