credit card payment cut-off date?

Options
If my credit card payment due date is the:

23rd July (Next Friday)

And my statement says I need to pay 4 working days before this date by either Card or Giro Credit. Then when is the latest I can pay? :(

Do I need to pay it Today or can I wait until Monday? I would prefer Monday when I have more funds but don't want it to be late.
Please reply ASAP Thanks :)

If i'm counting this correctly then monday would be working day 1 before next friday, tuesday day 2, wed day 3 and Thursday would be Day 4 so I think I should be OK leaving it until Monday?

I normally pay well earlier than this but i've had some cash flow issues. I just wish that my statement would say you need to pay by Today or by Monday for it to clear in time. Its silly having a due date when you have to allow nearly a week before that date.

If anyone else could please help before 3pm today that would be great. :(

depending on your card it might, MBNA have the day you pay and the day it applies to your account on a table.

theres a payment clearance table under the payments section, you can click on the table when you make a payment but its 2 days for it to clear so i assume you have another type if its 4. It takes, or tells you to allow, 4 days if paid other ways but using the make payment button is 2 days.

Are you able to pay by telephone or internet banking? You would be able to pay Tuesday by BACS and Thursday if they offer Faster Payments.

I would also consider setting up a Direct Debit for the minimum then you know the payment will always be taken 'just in time'.
