Hi All!!
Looking for a low cost laptop, no real specification needs, just ability to play cd's, she says!
Want to buy & collect, so not into ordering & waiting, so Argos seemd a good place to start.
Until I got confused!!
Thanks in advance!

whilst i understand you wish to be able to collect from instore, One of the best places i have found for cheap computer supplies is Ebuyer adn they do provide next day delivery.
having just run a quick search on the site i can see they have a vast selection of laptops all under £500 (not to sure how cheap you were wanting) the lowest priced is £282.
If you need help in choosing a suitable machine i am willing to help but will need a bit more info regarding what you intend to use it for (just pm me and i will be happy to help)
hope this helpsTrainee Advisor working in s!!!!horpe, UK. I will help if I can but NEVER take what I say as gospel (where possible I will provide links to relevant sources of information) becuase I have been known, on occasion, to be wrong0 -
Every laptop made in the last 10 years will have a CD drive, so you really need to give some more info about what else it is wanted for. Presumably if it was just to play CD's then you would buy a CD player instead? No free lunch, and no free laptop

Think she needs the CD feature, rather than a netbook without it. Just following the girls (vague) request at moment, but will ask again!
Thanks

This Toshiba Satellite L450D-11V for £274 or this Samsung R519 for £290. If she can wait two days for courier delivery. Will be shiny and new.
If she really can't wait, then something like the Lenovo G555 for £299 at Argos is not too expensive.0
