My last benefit payment hasn't gone through, due to some incompetance at the job center that means instead of signing off, I've been signed back on? I supposedly put in a new claim for JSA a week ago - still head-scratching as to how that happened.

Its sounding like I'll get two weeks tax credit, and a week and a bits benefit next week, but right now thats not much help as I'm sat overdrawn and with charges looming :(

So, I'll be spending a bit today on bus fares and a pastie to eat while I'm out, but I'm trying to keep the spending as low as possible!

  • Hopefully a no spend for me too.

Brought some food in for lunch - nothing exciting tho!

My brother is coming around for dinner so we shouldn't need to spend anything going out as I have some beer and a few bottles of wine so the pub shouldn't beckon...

Planning on it being a No Spend Day. There's dinner at home and beer in the fridge! Always take bills out at the start of the month and then what is left is mine. I don't set an amount to pay off debts, I just see what's left, but cos I'm so tight, it's usually ok!
