Origins Perfect World Skin Guardian Serum

Options
Anyone know a good serum like this. Can no longer warrant spending £30/£40 a bottle on this stuff now saving for house and wedding, but I love it. When stop using it my skin goes down hill. But im thinking there must be a cheaper alternative! x

Have you tried olive oil or any other basic oils?

Thats the thing the serum is in no way greasy! I dont want a greasy/oily serum as have problems with oily areas. Origins Perfect World calls itself a skin guardian, you put it on and its to stop pollution, redness etc etc etc.....
    Its a lightweight moisturising gel.

Jokaty have you tried the Perfect World moisturiser? I hadn't heard of this before reading your post but now I am intrigued!
What differences have you noticed in your skin since using it?

I havent tried the moisturiser to be honest. I am happy with my ALDI cheap one and dont want to pick up another expensive habit.

Whenever I stop using the Origins Perfect World Guardian I notice I get more spots, more red areas and generally my skin quality decreases. However, its just TOO expensive and I am hoping that the spots/redness would be a phase while my skin gets used to not having it....

I like the skin guardian too, but also cannot afford it (you get fantastic results with the moisturiser too btw- they are actually the very products that got me hooked on premium skin care!).

I found the Boots Perfect and Protect to be similar- and also their new one (I got to trial it for Boots!) but can be a bit more drying so only use if you have quite oily skin (mine is bone dry and flakes).

I also liked Olay regenerist serum and aslo the three point serum (if they are not the same thing!), again quite dense so maybe not for everyday use- just special occasions for my skin but worth looking at.

L'Oreal also do a primer in their make up like, not sure what its called but comes from the 'Professional' like and comes in a small transparent glass jar with black lid. Yet again very drying! But does a good job once or twice a week.

I should add here, I use the Skin Guardian as a primer, bought mine with my Boots points and it is worth it as it seems a little goes a long way.

Not found an exact match so far.

Well I went and bought the moisturiser today and I am hooked! :D
I had never used any Origins products before but think I will become an addict now!

    I couldn't afford the serum too :(
Is the serum very moisturising as the moisturiser is (obviously!) so I don't want too much moisture as I wear mineral makeup you see.
What about other Origins? What other products of theirs can you reccommend?
I can see I am going to have to save for the serum, do you put that on first?

Its not that- it just does this amazing smoothing thing on your skin, I have not yet found another brand which reacts in the same way- it was the reason I found a (for want of a better word!) addiction for decent products- it showed me that not all products are the same.

See if you can get the store to show you with a facial, you'll see what I mean!

I definitely will! It was the Origins lady's day off sadly or I would have pushed for a full on pamper session! Could wind up being expensive for me though!
Which of their cleansers do you recommend?
