MSN Money fund prices no longer updating

I noticed that my install of microsoft money was no longer updating the fund prices so I investigated a bit more and found that the MSN Money site is also not updating fund prices for UK stocks [so at least I know its nothing to do with my installation or version of money].
The last recorded update on the website is 8th July.
Here's an example.... http://uk.moneycentral.msn.com/investor/quotes/quotes.aspx?Symbol=GB:GB000513508
I know that Microsoft are withdrawing support altogether from Jan 2011 but I can't find any clues as to why the stock price updates have stopped now.
Anyone heard anything ?
Ian

This lack of updating and total lack of support by Microsoft is getting annoying. I emailed a support message about this to microsoft and got some totally unhelpful automated reply, it really was pathetic.
I tried posting a message on the msn money web site blog area, but after registering and typing a lot, on submission it said sorry can't be submited, try again later!
A lot of us have been suckered into totally committing all our financial transaction information in Microsoft money and by the end of the year we will be left high and dry with no alternative offered for fund and share tracking. It may even be that fund prices have been withdrawn already by the looks of things.
Microsoft will be going down the pan if they treat their customers like this.0 -
MS stopped supporting this software a couple of years ago. They haven't sold a UK version since 2005.
With no income from product sales, what do you expect?
For a free to £25 product, I think their support was pretty fantastic. Try Quicken and see what their support is like. Zero!0 -
Try manual inputting. It still works. Would that be a major problem? How many different shares, funds do you have.0

I still use MS Money as it's a great product and I have over 8 years of financial records in there - but as far as MS is concerned the product ceased to exist a few years ago.
I just do the prices updates about once a week by hand. At least that way I can keep an eye on everything. I never trusted the automatic updates anyway.0
