I got bored and wandered off halfway through the program (after the other place in spain) - did they actually tell you what happened in the end? Were they able to prove the barn had been built on a smaller footprint than the original?

The right to light thing is interesting - we tried arguing that when the neighbours planted conifers that completely shadowed the back of our house (and whole rear garden) - we got nowhere.

I saw it. The whinging couple hadn't realised they were in the wrong when they built it. Then they said they'd rebuilt it a few feet back, so should still be able to open their windows... even if the neighbour kept a wall up.

It's uninhabitable, due to having no light in some of the rooms (three I think it might be) ... only solution would be to put in a vaulted ceiling and velux windows I guess :)

I thought it was uninhabitable because if there was a fire they couldn't get out of the back, didn't realise it was because of the lack of light.

It ended with them trying to find proof that they build it smaller than the original barn so, presumably, some of the land outside their windows is theirs and that the neighbours had built the wall on their land.
