The PC itself seems good value, decent processor, nice amount of RAM and a nice big hard disk. It won't necessarily play all the latest games at high resolutions but would be ideal for photo editing, watching films etc.

I think you can do better on the monitor though, you could get this 22" BenQ from EBuyer for only £12 more! :)
    Useful is beautiful
  • It will be used for some gaming as well as day to day activities such as email and general surfing. Thanks everyone for your help. x

Looks pretty god damn good to me,

I have bought Medion kit many times before and it is very good. You will not get the same spec PC anywhere else for that price.

Would something like this be suitable for HD video editing, please? Perhaps with a big EHD? My daughter (who makes films) was considering upgrading her camcorder to HD, but only if we have a PC that can support it. And we need a new one-it's a relief every time this one switches on...

I am not an expert on Video capabilities so can't amswer from that perspective, but in terms of spec, it will cope well. I would suggest a bit more RAM depending on how you find it performing, but again, look at the price and look at what you are getting, it's a good price

The computer isn't too bad but I'd definitely look elsewhere for the monitor. Dabs have one for £74 and may be a bit less through totalcashback!

I don't really do video editing but I believe Sony Vega and Apple's Final Cut are two such programs that could be used. It really depends on how advanced you are though
