Have a look at broadwaybox.com for wicked tickets ive just had a looky looky and found 4 tickets for $400 sitting together in the mezzanine level on 27th Aug. Wicked is a high demand ticket and therefore you arent gonna get them cheap as chips.

We've been twice the same time as you are going and the 1st time it was hot hot hot, the second time it was hot and then it poured with rain then it got hot again. So my top tip is wear thin layers, keep an eye on the daily weather and drink loads if you get too hot dive into any shop as they are all air conned and if your really hot stay out of the subways, the trains themselves are often air conned but the platforms are like ovens.
Live each day like its your last because one day you'll be right

    Hi there
If you are looking for tickets for Wicked or any other NYC shows, can I recommend entertainment-link.com (i think this is the correct address)
You have to pay a small subscription to join (about £30 ish) but I have used them a couple of times and saved a fortune on tickets.
For your other sightseeing can I suggest you have a look at the NY citypass? This saved us a ton of money and was really good value as it also gave us discounts for things like Juniors cheesecake and Cold Stone (?) ice cream! Every little helps.
    Hope you enjoy your trip.

I've got saturday night New York theatre tickets from lastminute.com, bought before travelling.

Depends how much you really want to go - when I went last year, I couldn't afford tickets so went to the lottery every day. You put your name in, and if you're drawn then you can buy front row tickets for around $20 each. I won on the last day we were there! :) It was an absolute godsend for a poor student like me, haha.
