Help with freeview please

Hope someone can help me, we have a freeview box that can record aswell. Last night I tried to record and it ran out of free disc space, when I looked at the record list it was blank (we had about 20 things saved) but it is still saying there is no free disc space we should have 40 hours worth.
Hope someone knows more about these things than me all I can think to do is turn it off and on again.

Without more information about the make and model, there's not much help we can give.
Sounds like you need to delete some recordings to free space, but if they are not visable then it may require you to reformat the disk, which does mean that you'll lose everything already recorded.- = I also recognise the Robins and beep for them = -0
