What deal did you get Elfen?

BB - that's brilliant, go for it! That is a pretty good fee for a course like that.

I keep seeing courses I want to do, but really need to narrow it down as I don't have enough time/ money/ brain power for them all.

red, I had to go with TalkTalk :/ in the end as I had a load of palaver over the line; apparently the last tenant got it disconnected but it wasn't properly done, so there's an open line in my flat that I can't use....had to have a new line and TT were offering the best deal, and their package covers what I need (decent speed net - up to 24mg which I should get near to, with decent download limit - 40GB, free evening and weekend UK calls, free 0845/0870 numbers and the line was half price installation) Just got to hope I pass the credit check now!

BB that's a brilliant thing to do!

    Yes you must! ;)

I've just sat down and made a list of all the courses I've been thinking about/saved in my favourites etc.. it's slightly ridiculous :o Well, it's not, but I can't do them all at once!

Elfen, that sounds pretty good :)

red, it's not too bad a deal. Yeah, I have to pay 70 for a line, but that's just over half of what BT want, and BT's deals aren't as good, the internet has less speed and a crappy limit on it (10) and it's also 10 or 12 more expensive a month. TT is 18.50 a month, and that's with free calls and stuff too.

Part of the Furniture Photogenic Combo Breaker
I pinched the last place on the course :D just had a call from a colleague that if I'd have left it 1 more hour I would have missed out.

I just feel I need some 'proper' skills in something and even if level 1 only gets me in the door or is something listed on a job description then it's worth having.

I was chatting to the tutor the other day and she said she didn't feel I needed to enrol as Level 1 is quite basic. She offered to give me all her handouts and do a bit of 1:1 and then I pay as a private exam candidate but I know literally nothing about the subject and decided that although doing it that way would be only be around £50 I really want to learn properly rather than teaching myself.
