I'm on a week off from work this week, it's actually really refreshing to be able to get jobs done, check bank online and actually relax instead of rushing around in the evening. Sorted out a new current account with natwest too, which feels like I can make a fresh start in some ways

sounds like a good idea redsam, any good milk free recipes wouldn't go amiss either! I just like simple recipes with not too many ingredients.

Hi everyone, quiet here today.

My day off today so I have been enjoying the peace and quiet as there won't be any of that once the kiddies break-up from school! I have also had my very heavily pregnant friend round to visit, and I'm sure it'll be a while before we get a chance to hold an uninterrupted conversation again! ;)

    DFW today I:
    1) Have walked everywhere. My car has been off the road for a week now, but the part has arrived so it will be fixed tomorrow I hope.
    2) JUST CUT MY OWN HAIR! I watched a video on Youtube and away I went. It's fine - not brilliant but pretty cool. The only problem was that as I checked the back in the mirror I discovered I have backfat!:o
    3) Managed to book a Sun £9.50 holiday as soon as the site opened. I got my preferred location for the beginning of October half-term. We will enjoy this as we have decided no holiday in August so this is something to look forward to.
    4) I was going to take T for Pizza as it is just us this evening, but bought 2 for £1.25 each at the shop instead.
    5) Checked banking, quidco, did SC etc
    6) Did an Approved Food order.
7 Enjoyed several rounds off Guess Who for free entertainment.

Hope it's quiet cos everyone is off having fun. I will be enjoying wine tonight as I definitely won't be driving anywhere - yuk to the midnight pick-up Milly!

    See you tomorrow, L x

    Evening All,

Sorry for the late post... Today I have/will:

packed for holidays (off tomorrow so won't be around for week) :T
bought tomorrow nights tea so we don't have to worry about finding shops when we get there. (only spent a few pennies)
Write DH b'day and anniversary card (and remember to take - it's whilst we are away)
Made biscuits and tea with left overs in fridge ;)
Maybe make cake if I have time to use up apples.
Pack essentials out of kitchen so I don't overspend in supermarket whilst away on things we aren't going to use in a week.
Check banking make sure it'll all be ok whilst we are away.

Have a great week everyone - hope the weather improves for us all :D
