Friday 16th July - What small DFW things have you done today?!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important
:D
Goooood morning - yayyyyyy it's Friday....a lie in tomorrow:T
I'm off to college this morning to see my tutor, she wants to get me started on some assignments. AFter that I'm picking up dd2 from school early (at 12) - as she's off to see JLS tonight with my sis and nieces! My bro in law picking her up so saves me driving an hour to deliver her. She's very excited:j
Tonight I get to go and pick up my dd1...back from her week in Germany. Collecting her at 11.45pm, so no Fridy night wine for me:rotfl:
OK, must get ready and get my college stuff organised....
Today:
Ok, that's me for now...have a fab day everyone:beer:

I have been really inspired by loads of people on the forum and the help and advice is really warming and reasuring. So I hope this is appropriate place to post...
After a couple of days of tears, and lack of sleep I have started to get my head around my stressful finances...today I sent off an application for job that I really not keen on and I think they have an internal candidate (I'm a teacher), looked and applied for a part time/temp/eve job for extra cash, and uploaded some board games onto amazon and sold one already and hopefully sold a microwave we dont need or use! I posted an advert in my local free newspaper website to sell my skills making gluten free cakes.
I will find a pot/jar that I can seal for the extra cash made to put towards my debts.
Its a small start, but its a start!been away for a while..need to get on financial track! debts.....Post Grad Student Loan, Northern Rock Loan, Egg CC, Halifax CC, A&L CC, A&L overdraftAllotment plot holder since Feb 2008 :j0 -
