WHO do I send phone bill & bank charges to??? BANK or ASDA.
today I found out that there was £105 missing from my bank.
I phoned my bank. They said the missing amount is in the HOLDINGS & is allocated to ASDA, I explained that my ASDA shop was done & they got the £99 that was due. My bank confirmed this & said the £105 will be back in on MONDAY, if I want it sooner that I should give a AUTH. code, date/time of transaction small statement to them so they can fax it to the bank.
I phone ASDA, explain the above they reply.
Under the DATA PROTECTION ACT (DPA) & company policy we dont send faxes out as we dont know if the receiving fax is correct/secure.
I explain all the bank want is AUTH code, Date time transaction happened, and statement saying we dont want the £105.
( under DPA there is no info relating to me except the code I cant see how this would infringe DPA).
I phoned both the bank & ASDA numerous times. Bank was helpful ASDA just wont budge.
ASDA saying its a bank problem, Bank ensures me its ASDAS fault ( I believe the bank cant see them advising me to send a fax as that would break the DPA not good for business).
result at the moment is
A) a list of names from ASDA who didn't help at all.
a list of quotes that ASDA said.
C) a car with no fuel
D) three kids under 5 that will be bored this weekend
E) a shortage of nappies
F) no money
G) a home shop that was £99 but cost £200 (ASDA cheapest pricesha ha ha ha)
H) a sorry from the asda staff (that was worth it)
I) big phone bill
MANY MANY THANKS
