Thanks for the ideas dizzie, maysie and bubbles.

I will try and use all of those to make our day a little bit special (its also the day we met six years ago).
The children thing is not a can't, its a wont. he does not want more children and I know there is no way he will change his mind, no way at all. I feel so torn as I would love another child but I cant jeopordise our relationship. Trouble is, I cant get over it and I dont want to start getting bitter and twisted over it.
I just hope I can bury it somewhere or I will lose the best thing in my life.
I guess I have to face it that we cant always have what we want in this life.
I understand this situation, I can't have any more children but my OH doesn't have any children. The thing that made me agree to marry him, it was his statement that 'I want you more than I want children' That meant a lot to me, because I didn't want him to miss out on having children by being with me. The children issue can break many couples, so its good you can talk to him about it xx:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0 -
ah i hope you can over come it too, i dont know if i could but i would probably just go along with 'he might change his mind in the future, if he sees how much i want one after a while he might change his mind' that way you have a teeny bit of hope, but you may be able to put it to the back of your mind for a bit
if i didnt think like that i would be having serious doubts too
incidently its a running joke between me and h2b that he would have another baby(after two) 'if we won the lottery' the lottery?? what about my sanity????!!!!I am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0 -
awww you poor thing. How about just surprising him when he gets home with a treat? Or just take go for a day out, doing something that you both enjoy to remind each other how great it is.0
