    I'm not a great believer in sending registered letters I would actually phone them.

    Do both - no proof you ever made a phone call and no guarantee you will get through to someone that will be bothered.

    In the United Kingdom unsolicited goods are goods delivered to an individual with a view to the individual acquiring them, but where the individual has no reasonable cause to believe that they were delivered for legitimate business and had not previously agreed to acquire them

    They wouldnt be covered under unsolicited goods.
