You'd be better off with Organic Phosphorus/Onion and Root Veg Fertiliser. To be honest.
I did a study on manure vs peat free compost last year and the results were that manure-free seedlings grew taller, stronger and faster and the bulbs were wider when I planted them out. They were sown last autumn and left in pots in the greenhouse next to each other during the winter.
I grow mine in sand and get the best results.0 -
thing is though....... I get the manure for free....
Used it on my apple tree last year and the blimming thing went crazy, I was sick of apples by the end of it0
