Rent Plus

A new scheme i have joined with my housing association,Notting Hill, Rentplus. Every month i pay extra £45 and i agree to do minor repairs to my property. This saves the housing associton money on contractors to carry out repair work. For this after a year if i havent called out the repair team only for major repairs like boilers, central heating i get a £300 bounus. I can have this in cash or have it towards a discount if i go part rent , part buy. I thought this was a brill way to get £300. Hopefully gonna get it next year in time to go holiday with my oh and kids. Anybody else HA do a scheme similar:beer:

I'm confused - you pay £45 extra every month, so £540 extra a year, and then they give you £300 back ... how is that a good deal?!

I assume you mean that you get the £540 back also, like a savings account?
    Gone ... or have I?
