I havnt been to the victoria theater but I have been to others. some shows are better to be in the stalls near the stage if you sit to far forward you will be looking up at the stage so go for about row M or higher (A is the front V is the back) the seats are numbered from 1 on the far left of the stage the center is about 17-21 18 and 19 for row M
The circle is the best view as you are slightly raised and look down on the stage if you go for this option get early rows A, B or C around 17 or 18 for the center unfortunatly these are the most expensive seats at £55 each but you do get the best view.
The Grand Circle are usually the cheapest but you need binoculrs to watch the show and usually get a restricted view in some seats and you can feel a bit out of it up there.
The normall prices are below, the show is very popular so getting tickets will be tough. I know that there is a tkts place in London just like times square where you can get discount tickets in Leicester Square and canary whalf but its a case of queue up and see what you can get for the shows on that day Billy Eliot is sold by them but for todays show 7thseptember they sold for £2.50 more than the box office price. Ticketmaster do also sell tickets for Billy Elliot and will proberbyl be your best option to get tickets allowing you to plan the trip better. you could also call the box office 0870 895 5577 10 am till 8:30pm and see if they can sell you them over the phone and collect at the box office on the day to save a few of the fees.
ORCHESTRA STALLS
£25.00 - £55.00
DRESS CIRCLE
£55.00
GRAND CIRCLE
£17.50 - £32.50
If it is a special trip then push the boat out and got for the circle we allways do with the exception of Starlight express as I like the skaters flying past my ears and you only get that in the stalls.0 -
You, or indeed someone else might not know about a website that gives advice on everytheatre's seats in London. My daughter recently took us to see Phantom, but not before she had studied the inforhttp://www.theatremonkey.com/mation, ie position of every "pole" etc in the theatre. Also, she noted that if you sit in the second row of the Grand Circle, those people in the front row, invariably lean forward and rest on the barrier. Take a look at http://www.theatremonkey.com/Incidently, after studing the site, wherever she bought the tickets from, it was an extra £45 for their fee's. I personally would go direct to the theatre. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

The best way, if you are London area, is to jump on a train and go direct to the theatre. That way you don't pay any stupid booking fees, and the box office staff are really helpful about seating. Also, they have seats that they hold back from booking agents availability.0
