Thw wind has battered my onions!
Hi all,
I have just been up to my lottie, and as it is a very exposed site the wind today has completely bent over the onions.
Will they be ok?
I have never had this happen before, but I know they are not ready yet as they haven't even begun to yellow off yet.
Any thoughts or experiences with this would be gratefully recieved!

This does happen but don't worry they will be fine. They will soon turn brown anyway.0

They'll be fine.
I'm absolutely SICK of this wind now. It has battered everything in our garden. My tomato plants look shocking, one of them is currently lying on the bl**dy floor as I type  I don't know if it's been broken, don't really want to go and look!
Wish the wind would just bog off now! The veggies all look as bedraggled as me when I'm out there being blown around "Your life is what your thoughts make it"

R.i.P our beautiful girl Suki. We'll love and miss you forever

Can you get some hoops and a net and bung that over them; with plastic milk cartons full of water to hold it down.....it really helps to stop the wind buffering them.0
