Hotel in London this Monday

Hello all, I recently posted, asking for a cheap hotel near the Aldwych Theatre, no luck finding one there.

I am after a hotel now just in central London which I can catch the tube to after the show, doesn't have to be posh or fancy, just needs to be a hotel rather then a guest house, unless anyone can reccomend a good one?

Or am I better waiting till Sunday? will I get it cheaper last minute?

What would be your definition of cheap? Single or double room? Any preference to area?

Thanks Manda, we spent the night in Cambridge in the end which was lovely for the following day !
