Should I sack the EA?

The EA I chose came out on Monday to take pictures of our house. The house went on to the main website propertynews.com with a picture of the front of the house but no other pictures and no description of the property. It is Thursday night and this is still the case. I am very concerned for 2 reasons:
- The EA phoned on Tuesday to tell me about a house I might like to view. She said she was going out that day to take pictures. It is now fully written up and on the website even though mine went on the market earlier.
- On Tuesday we were told that there were five people interested in seeing the house. Noone else has asked to see it since. I think this is because the website has no information. People will think it's too horrible to show (I would!)
- I used an agent who isn't based locally as I got a deal for 0.5% commission. Maybe I have made a false economy in doing this.
I know it's early days but I'm feeling really uneasy. It will cost us £150 to get out of the contract with no tie-ins. Should I give them a chance or should I get out, put it down to experience and pay a higher commission for a local agent? I'm really doubting my judgement at this stage.

Have you contacted them and asked why? It pays to keep in regular contact. Remember you only have one house to sell whereas they could be dealing with many, make sure you are friendly but assertive and keep on top of things. We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.

Some agents don't put the full details on the web until they have been approved by the vendor, have you approved your details yet? I have dealt with sellers who have instructed me to market there property from a certain date, details have been prepared in advance & approved so the day it goes on the market, full details are available on the internet. It may be a similar case with your agent, speak to them to find out what is going on.0

That's what happened to us.They put a photo of the house and very brief details on the website immediately. They waited until they got the draft details all approved by us before they could put all the other photos and details on the website.0
