I am buying a used car privately on Saturday, I have seen a print off somewhere that is signed by the other person proving that you have handed over the money for it! I cant find it anywhere, can anyone help?

You're after a receipt essentially then? Or if that isn't the right word some sort of document that you both sign to agree that money has changed hands?

And when the signature on the form " doesn't " match the sellers usual signature you are still up 's**t creek'

If you use http://www.mycarcheck.com you can print off a decent receipt from there.
