Overnight parking Glasgow?

I'm not from Glasgow but come in to socialise sometimes. My biggest fear is finding the car is locked in for the night lol.

I can also find Buchanan Galleries quite easily - what's the best way to get to the Jamaica St one or Q Park from the M8 please?
