I spent ages relabeling some songs before I bought new creative zen and when I turned it on this morning over 90% of the songs had been uploaded without the cover work.
I know it's anal of me but the artwork helps identify songs quicker:o:(

What software did you use to copy the songs to the Creative Zen?

When I had one I used MediaMonkey which copied the artwork OK.

WMP is notoriously bad at messing up album art. Can't you delete the songs from your Zen and just copy & paste (drag & drop) them using My Computer?

That should work. If you need to retag your files, MP3tag is a good tool, and it only need to be done once. http://www.mp3tag.de/en/download.html

But just dragging and dropping your music to the Zen should solve your album art problem.

Just to delete your files on the Zen, then drag & drop them from the PC to your Zen won't take weeks, and the album art should be fine.

If you do need to re-tag then MP3tag will take a while, yes, but you might not have to.

The problem is with WMP - it always screwed up my album art so I just drag & drop - that's using a Zen, Samsungs and a Walkman, and I've had no issues.
