Paypal Questions

I am just wondering if you close your account, would paypal still be able to reverse the transation if somebody file a chargeback? As I've just seen somebody had the experience of chargeback and so did I...

  • I think once a chargeback has been initiated your funds are froze and you are unable to just close the account? But I may be wrong?

Closing your account makes no difference, if their is no balance then paypal will call in th edebt collectors to chase you.

It's the same with a credit card in the UK, just closing the account doesn't stop any future claims against the account.

what about, if you don't be a verified buyer and you get the funds, transfer it to somewhere else or buy something, then close the account......then the buyer file a chargeback, would they still be able to chase you.

if they are still do, i doubt i would dare to sell mob on ebay again....
