New home, how do i know if its cheaper to change
Hello,
i've just moved home and have gas and electricity (previously only had electricity)
How can i work out if its cheaper to stay with my present company -scottish power.
All the sites you visit ask you to enter your average bills for the year but i don't have any bills yet and don't really want to wait a year to find out i would be better off switching,.
Is there any way (thats not too complicated - i don't want to be taking weekly/daily meter readings)? that i can work out whether to change or stay?

Do you mean new home to you, or new home as in new build? If the latter, then you'll have defaulted onto your local supplier and it'll almost certainly be one of the most expensive options.I really must stop loafing and get back to work...0

See the stickies above, Miky, average use is mentioned. Depends on size of house, how large a family and so on.
How well the place is insulated, how many windows face south.
The comparison services also accept size of house.0
