    It's seems obvious that people's experience regarding temps varies. In some cases they are paid more, in others they are not.
    I've seen both, although in my experience nowadays they tend to be paid similar salaries, probably because there are so many people looking for work, that even those wanting a perm job are resorting to temping...

    Not breaking the law at all. The break is an entitlement not a requirement. (It would be unlawful if the employer were insisting that the break was not taken, but the worker can choose not to take it.) However the employer (agency) may themselves have a rule that a minimum break does have to be taken.
