cheap place to dine

Can anyone reccammend any cheap restaurants for an evening out with uni freinds, maybe restaurants that provide buffet meals

    If you are in Manchester there are lots of good curry houses in Rusholme and some buffet chines restaurants in town.

    dragon king in park royal, west london eat as much as like £6.oo day time, £11 at nite which includes pudding jelly, ice cream, cake. dont drink fizzy drinks such as beer or coke as make you bloated . you wont be able to eat as much

    ive been making my own curries, tesco value frozen chicken fillets about 2 or 3, fry them , mix in tesco value curry sauce, use rice.

    fillets for a pack of about 6 £3
    tesco value curry sauce 27p
    rice already had ?

    its wicked any left over i freeze or let oh take to work next day

  • sorry guys missed out a vital detail in my question i live in London. oh yeah thanks for the responses so far. looking for sumwhere a bit trendy. The cheapest deasl ive found is a lunchtime deal that finishes at 5pm for 2 meals for a fiver, nice place too but id luv if sum1 cld beat that as i have been there a couple of times and i get bored easily so................

    I'd go along with that one.

    Plus - on the Euston Road, between Gt portland St and Warren st tubes, there are several (ok, three) chinese buffet places (between 5 and 6 pounds afternoons, I think it's a quid extra in the evenings)

    Near there too, Drummond Street has lots of Indian buffet places for around the same price
