  • The first thing that you should do if you are looking to save money to start a family is to put in place a solid family budget listing all of your regular income and all of your expenses. This way you can easily see whether or not you are saving any money each month and where you can cut back in order to save a little bit more.

    You can also save a lot of money with shopping saving tips and other general around the house saving tips from websites such as Ideas to Save Money. They even have an example of how to go about Balancing your Household Budget.
