Orange customer service, what a joke. Paid August bill online, they lost the payment and suspended my account. I sent an email telling them it had been paid, got a stupid automated response back. Called customer services and was transferred numerous times and then got cut off. Was totally hacked off, paid bill in full in store. Account online still suspended, called Customers services, put through to billing and a stupid non English person didn't understand my query, duuuuuuhhhhh!!!! Please unsuspend my account, is that not simple enough. She decided to transfer me and I consequently got cut off.... great stuff, not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi there, best thing to do is to call them, tell then u r going to leave because of the service u recevied 2day. They will then offer u a good insentive to stay, e.g, free calls for month or so, Please dont give up, keep on at them and do not let them treat you like this. Can anyone help me? I am looking for a good deal on a mobile phone, I WORK AWAY from home and I require a deal that includes both day and evening calls, I am not too bothered about txt mssg, as I mostly use calls. I am also looking for a slim phone something not too bulke, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks:j0 -
So you have paid twice? I wouldnt have done that - I would have made them find the missing payment - I know this would mean being without phone for a bit if the account is suspended but I would begrduge paying twice!
Have you proof of paying online - ie through online banking or a receipt of somesort?Weight Loss - 102lb0 -
I paid online with a Tesco Visa card and I paid instore with cash. I've just checked my Tesco visa statement online and it's gone through this month so yes.... I have paid twice, great. I'm under the weather just now but will get onto things on Monday. Account is still suspended online, stating that I have £0.00 outstanding, how daft is that. I had a similar experience with Orange.
Ordered a phone online from them, and they promised delivery the next Tuesday. No delivery arrived. So I called them and they said "sorry, we were out of stock but it'll be with you tomorrow." No phone arrived. We carried on the "with you tomorrow" dance for a week.
Eventually I said "can i just go and pick it up from an Orange store in town?" and they said yes. Happy days, I got my lovely new phone in the shop later that day.
They then started billing me for 2 phones. Regardless of how many times I told them I only had one phone, and they confirmed that the other line they were billing me for had never been used, they refused to stop double billing me.
I was told "don't pay until we get this sorted out", then told "you'll need to pay" and all told, I think I got cut off about 8 times in 8 months.
It took me 15 months to finally get things sorted with Orange, and it took another year to get my £100 deposit back. Eventually, a letter to the Chief Executive, faxed to his direct fax line, was the only way to get things sorted.
Orange are committed to excellent customer service?
I think they just need to be committed to an institution...0
