hope sbdy can help or advice...
I've just received this MP3 player http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-YP-U5JQWH-XEU-Hello-Player/dp/B003CGOY9W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1279194342&sr=8-1
bought it for my daughter few days back when it was still £10.
I am trying to put some music in before i give it to her but my laptop doesn't seem to recognise the device. I think it has sthing to do with Windows 7... I've tried to find somewhere to download a compatible driver but can't find anything. Does anybody know what I can do?
Thanks a lot

Does the USB turn on or do anything when you plug it in? Or does it turn on when not connected.
Try another USB socket too.
Or can you see the USB under my computer?0 -
Hi,
tried searching Samsung and found this,
so you could try that.0 -
Samsungs should be in MSC mode (UMS) under settings on the player and not MTP for file transfer.
You should see this option under settings on the player itself, then try connecting to your PC; Windows 7 should recognise it as a mass storage device.
Then it's a simple matter of copying music over to its music folder.I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.
