Hi
We are off to Legoland on 17th Aug and want to stay on Monday 16th Aug in a hotel/b&b. Any ideas where I should be looking? Want something cheap and cheerful. Have had a look at a few but they have been expensive to park which bumped up the trip.
We are coming from South Wales if that is at all relevant :rotfl:
We need to have 2 rooms as MIL is coming too . I looked at devere hotel (sp) which I saw someone recommended on here but they wont take children Sun-Thurs so that is out.
Thanks

We stayed in the Travel Lodge in Slough which is about 5 miles away. Not the best of hotels but cheap and cleanish and did for one night! We also found a car park nearby (that the hotel recommended) that was £5 overnight (till 9am in the morning). I have also put tips about Legoland visit in the Theme Park Post at the top of the first page. Enjoy yourselves.0

You could try the 4 star Millennium Copthorne in Reading, as it has a £10 plus VAT a room night deal for the date you want. It is one booking per person, so when we went as a family of 4, I booked a room in my name and one in hubbys and then emailed them to ask for interconnecting rooms (you have to book a double and a twin room). It was a nice hotel with a pool open until about 9pm and free parking in front of the hotel. Big rooms with tea and coffee making, large LCD tv with digital tv and mini bar. Breakfast would have been expensive but there is md's or burger king in the trading estate in front of the hotel. Also had a Pizza Hut. It is about 30 minutes drive away from Legoland on the M4.

Just had a look and it allows me to book 3 rooms Put 1 adult and 1 child in 2 rooms and 1 person in third room for £35.25 in total. However Terms and conditions say one room booked at a time so I would book 1 room at a time. They do ask for a credit/debit card on arrival, but don't take anything off it.0 -
Also in case the above deal is booked up by the time you read it, the Devere hotel in Reading has a family room for £44 and a double room for £29 for the night you want. it looks nice and seems to have an indoor pool.

Hi Sam,
The Reading Hotel deal is still available, think maybe the booking link expired.

Click on book now and then your date.
Also in case that link does not work just go to the front of the site

Put in your date and put 10YEARS in the box by the search button.0 -
Thank you so much susancs for posting. I have just booked 2 rooms, one using husbands card, one using mine just to be on the safe side. WIll email them now asking for interconnecting rooms or rooms next door to each other. Cant believe such a bargain all for £24. Thank you0
