Mole hole turns into crater!

Ok, simply put, took toilet pan out of downstairs loo and it looks like a mole mound made out cement, chipped it off and now I've got a crater in the floor.
I want to tile the floor but what should I fill the hole in with? The floor is asphalt BTW. Would quick drying cement work or are there any other options?

I haven't got one!

When you mean hole, how deep are we talking?
Canthe ground below?
I would have said concrete would be fine but be careful as you dont want damp coming up.0 -
Thanks flang, I would say the hole is about 3 to 4 inches deep, 12 inches long and 7 to 8 inches wide basically the size of the bottom of a toilet pan.
As I'm tiling I need to be sure as you're already pointed out as I don't want any damp coming throughI haven't got one!0
