Sold wrong bank account

Hi,
After taking advice from this great site i decided to ditch and switch from Lloyds bank to A&L in February. For doing so i was told that i would get £100. I had the meeting with the rep and made it clear that the main reason i was changing was the £100 incentive. She told me that i would recieve this money after 12 weeks.
The 12 weeks came and went with no credit into my account. I phoned up yesterday and was told by the telephone person that the £100 was only for another account, not the one i had opened.
Considering i made it clear to the lady at the time that i wanted the account where i would recieve £100, where do i stand in claiming this money??? I have nothing in writing, only my word. I honestly think the woman ticked the wrong box at the time but this is her fault not mine!
Any advice???

I doubt if there's much you can do unless you can prove your case. If the lady "ticked the wrong box" then you should have pointed this out to her before you signed the application form.0
