build a teddy

Went into" Build a Teddy" store yesterday in Liverpool 1,to get a Liverpool teddy for a christening present. Hadn't a clue how to go about this. 2 members of staff were there and it was quite busy.
The service i received was exceptional. They were so pleasant, making suggestion and generally very helpful. Lovely to see this in this age of mostly don't care attitudes.
I was so encouraged by them i will be going back for 2 more for my grandchildren

There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

I love Build a Bear, the staff are always so much fun! I remember DD having her first teddy from there and laughing her head off when the lady had her rubbing its heart to warm it up.

I agree that the staff are nice and the product is good, just a shame it is so expensive and the accesssories cost a fortune.

very true, DD went to several in the USA (her bears had a passport so they were stamped with each store she visited) and we ended up having to buy a case to bring back a Build a Bear car!! That said, it cost $24 and over here it cost £24.99 so it was much cheaper.

DD is 12 now, wont part with any of it and still sleeps with her first BAB :p:D

Is that like Build-a-bear? I got a bear for my nephew from them. They were great!

I got my First Build a bear in New York (aged 21 I might add) and the staff there were fantastic as well, really made me smile and even helped me pick out an appropriate 'travelling outfit' for my bear as I travelling across the states.
