It's going to be awful for the workers in there, having to tell people no, everything is not a £1

I wonder who starts these rumours. Maybe Primark??? It is fantastic publicity for its new store. Pity the staff though as i bet they get some angry people who have not heard that it is a hoax.
I believed it but thought it would only be certain stock put out that is usually about £2 anyway.0 -

Officially on behalf of Primark, I can inform you that this story is completely untrue and that there will be no special offers of the kind described above when we open our Primark store in Bury.
ooo, Primarks breaking forum rules0 -
That's a lot of experience you've got, there.Anyway, I can't believe that people thought this was going to be true! As if they're going to put things that retail for £10, £20, £30 etc. out for a pound. Ridiculous!I'm speaking purely from my experience of these types of events. The Boots 75% off sale being the only example I have experience of."Facism arrives as your friend. Was just thinking the same myself! :rotfl:0 -
Yes, loads of things. Some of the larger stores have a homewares section. Even in clothing, some pairs of jeans are between £15 and £20, for example.fat_cockney wrote: »Do Primark sell anything for a tenner? let alone £20, £30 etc!!??"Facism arrives as your friend.
