I'm with you, it seems too good to be true, unless they're putting real tat out that day, it cannot be their 'normal' range.
Happy moneysaving all.0 -
Personnaly I think its really irresponsible of primark to be doing this. Especially after recent store opening and the mayhem that ensued. It costs us taxpayers a small fortune when the police have to be called to calm the crowds and deal with the assaults etc. Yet primark dont contribute towards this.
There would be far better ways of making sure customers got a great deal without them having to risk their lives, these sorts of store openings can end up with very serious injuries. and yes there will be the idiot who turns up with their kids in buggies, then whinging that they child got battered.
Is it really worth it? NO!
We need to stop trying to copy the Americans and get back to being a civilised nation.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T

Completely with you here, Princess.
Go on bargain hunters, knock yourselves out, give up your morals and dignity for a 'bargain'. Scream at people, shove others out of the way, cos manners aren't as important as a cheap dress eh? Spare a thought for the kids in Bangladesh also, who are probably getting less than 1% of that quid per item that they've worked night and day to make.
My conscience and self respect are worth so much more than a few badly made garments of clothing going cheap.Come ride with me, through the veins of history...
I'll show you how God falls asleep on the job.

amazing how everyone is branded in this way !!!!0 -
I'm speaking purely from my experience of these types of events.jonathonjordan wrote: »amazing how everyone is branded in this way !!!!
The Boots 75% off sale being the only example I have experience of.
I don't shop in Primark as I think their ethical practices are questionable at best, but I hear horror stories about how busy and uncivilised it is at the best of times, let alone when they have a marketing ruse such as this on.
Humans at their absolute worst.Come ride with me, through the veins of history...

I would go, but I struggle with Primark's crowds and especially their long queues, at the best of times. I think Bury on opening day would be a complete nightmare.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls
