We're only 9 hours ahead at this time of year so not so bad. I've been watching the Tour so not sleeping until 2am most nights.

    No, no, no and no.

    I smell systemic change.

Then you're not hedging against anything, you're gambling on the hope that we'll have systemic failure and that Gold prices will rise. Traditional hedging would be to hold some Gold in order to hedge against your other investments, such as shares. If the economy does well then you gain from your share rises, if the economy does badly then your shares fall, but you've hedged your losses against a rising Gold price.

The strange thing is that when the balloon went up in 2007, everything crashed, including Gold.

I assume you've sold all your gold to 'cash4gold' then - help you meet your overdue mortgage repayments...

All these cash for gold and silver companies are falling over themselves to buy gold.

Just look at the comparison table below:"

If they can pay 50% extra, what are they expecting the price of gold to go to?

Isn't that just 50% more than the other rip-off merchants.

How much is everyone being ripped off if they can pay 50% extra?

You use such adverts to substantiate your point? Next it will be Sun headlines/;)

I was just thinking the other day, where have all the cash-4-gold etc adverts gone? I havnt seen one for several weeks, maybe months. So do they still think the Price of gold is going up, or down?
