Im currently paying £35 a month each for gas and elec in a 2 bedroom semi with me and my partner being the only people here.we are out at work most days and rarly have the heating on yet theyve just sent a letter "reminding" us we are 150 pound in debit.
What does this mean, they are not asking for payment on the letter what is it for?

Are you taking the exclamation marks out of us? What is not to understand?
They have told you that your £70 instalments are not sufficient to cover the cost of the gas and electricity you are using (or that they have estimated that you have been using). You have to modify your useage or make a payment or look forward to your direct debits (or monthly payment schedule) being increased or adjusted to cover future and past use.
I am not sure what it is you do not understand.0 -
I think the pposter is suggesting by implicatyion that they don't believe they use enough for £35 p/m for each service to be insufficient.
If so I can only suggest you check your meter reading(s) & tarrifs to verify this.
You may also of course be able to look at competitor price comparison sites & whether a switch would be worthwhile to you if not locked into a contract.0
