Hi everyone
Recently I've downloaded freeware for various tasks but the majority I'm unable to open them due to a message which appears straight after installing them.
Error 5: Access is denied.
How can I circumvent these error messages?
I'm always logged on as the administrator so I thought I had full rights to use whatever programme I want.
Many thanks for any help you may offer.

Can't remember fully, but I'm sure Error 5 is also generated when you have corrupted MSI Installer or missing DLL files
Few pointers....
- If your using Vista, try the "run as admin / elevated privs" options
- Click start - run - type compmgmt.msc and press enter, expand the event viewer and check the application or system log (think it's app), check for any red circles... with "access denied", this normally points you as to what is causing it
The message could also being cause by corrupted registry settings or permissions, has anyone else tried installing this software
BTW, what's the program names called. They could be spyware/malwareOwner of andrewhope.co.uk, hate cars and love them
