Selling timeshare

Hi guys,

The parents have a timeshare and want to get rid! Anyone know the best way to do that? they have had it for quite a while but want to get rid of it now as they hardly use it anymore.

I'm in the same situation, ie wanting to sell, so am only really asking for similar help.

However, what I can say is that as soon as you go online, or elsewhere I guess, to indicate that you would like to sell a timeshare you attract all sorts of unsavoury people trying to scam you by saying they have a buyer and all you have to do is send them some money, eg while they 'verify' your title rights or variations on that scheme, and then the original buyer disappears along with whatever you have paid upfront.
Have not been caught myself but I believe many have, so beware.

I'm currently being offered to sell my timeshare with assurances of no such upfront payment being asked for by A&D Marketing and frankly it sounds 'too good to be true' and we all know that in that case it probably is but I'd be grateful to hear from anyone who knows anything of this company and ideally from anyone who has a happy experience to share???

yes i have seen simialr online buyers! thinking of putting ad i nthe local paper and seeing how that goes!
