Please help!! PORTFOLIO NEEDED!

Hi
I am a graphic designer and photographer. Together with my fiancee (who is a photographer) we opened a business
We have great cameras with proffesional (prime, L) lenses and would love to try wedding photography. However we haven't got any wedding photos in our portfolio and I am so scared that people would not give us a chance!!!

• We are from yorkshire and can travel almost anywhere (well, maybe not to Brighton )

• we would pop by with our portfolio and If you don't like our style -we won't be offended! We would discuss the 'must have' shoots, the style you want
• we would take 'engagement' shots (pre wedding). After post-processing you can have a look at these on DVD to see if you like them.

• we would be very happy to act as a 2nd shooter if you wanted a family friend or someone else to take on the main role. We would check the place of the wedding few days before the ceremony , check all the issues, locations for time out shoots, conditions etc.
• we would stay as long as you need us to
• Give you a dvd of high quality post-processed photos with copyright (you would be able to develop your photos everywhere -boots , jessops etc.).:A

Why spam?
I'm not spam ! It is for free -my time and effort just to give somebody a chance-does it make it a spam?!
I understand that I'm probably destroying rich photography market but the thing is I have no choice !

Hi hun, I am afraid that here, your post is considered spam. Look at my thread about representing yourself and get permission to post. We do have other photographers on here, who offer advice about photographers and what to expect, so do stay and join in, you'd be welcome.

although I do think that Sammy could've phrased her "spam" message a little bit kinder.

This seems to be a genuine offer of help to brides who are struggling - not like the usual spam of "I got a great dress from xxx website and the quality is amazing" (p.s. this is my first and last ever post, and actually, I am the owner of the company)>

They are some of the biggest ones, and I 'think' this kind of post would be ok on there

I'm taking the photo's but I'm certainly no professional.
