My partner and I are about to sell our first house and move into Military Quarters. We expect to have around £20k left after all the dealings are complete. Can anyone suggest the best method for investing this money to benefit us in the long run?

Too many variables here to give suggestions. You are are looking at about 5000 products/options. Can you narrow down what you want a bit. Perhaps look at some of the recent threads asking the same thing and getting the same responses.

Sorry a bit vague! We are looking to put the money away for minimun of 5 years with no need to touch it, as a deposit for a possbile new home. I am prepared to put all the money into one investment if that will gain the most amount over that period of time.0
