Uncle of mine had a US Robotics 9106 as his router at home. About 3-4 weeks ago this stopped working, and after he spent a week faffing about, they rang BT BB to see what the problem was. Eventually they put their BB 'Experience' team onto it, and they, after a lot of testing, decided the problem lay with the router, but said that as they couldn't access it without a password, they would have to send another router (they have sent a Voyager 120, but there's is no wireless).
I plugged the router in last night, and the wireless is working, but the **** thing still won't connect to BT. I reckon a firmware upgrade may solve the problem, but has anyone else had similar problems, and if so, what resolved it?
p.s. He's a complete technophobe, so I doubt very much he has changed the configuration on the router.

Have u run the diagnostics on the router to find out where it is falling over?
Username and password correct?0 -
Yeah, checked the configuration myself, and all seems to be fine.
It may just have packed in, but worth exploring all possibilities first.0 -
Does it connect with the Voyager 210? Have you tried reseting the wireless router and then trying to establish a connection? Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Works fine with the Voyager BT sent. NFI why the USR won't connect. I'll have another crack at it over the weekend.0
