Google Chrome crashing when trying to print webpage

I am trying to print a webpage while using Google Chrome but it causes it to crash. Is anyone else having these problems?

IE is like wading through glue lately so I've been using GC.

I use google chrome and have never had problems with it. Have you tried mozilla firefox?

uninstall google chrome and then try reinstalling. This should fix it.

  • i've had problems with CERTAIN web pages thru Chrome, yes. If you're having speed issues with IE, have you upgraded to IE8? This helps. It's also more secure than previous IE incarnations (I think I'm the only person in the world that actually LIKES IE!!)

In my experience the problem will be the web page so changing browser is the way forward for that particular page by the sound of it.

Try removing all the "add-in" toolbars that tend to get shoved into IE by various software, partic. Google toolbar (NO NEED!), yahoo toolbar, antivirus toolbars and the like. all clutter. you can select to keep the behind the scenes functionality of say AV toolbars when you try to turn them off by unselecting the tick-boxes presented (if any)

Thanks, I'll uninstall it later then and put it back in. I do not have any toolbars (other than eBay) and it only seems to be happening today. I'ved used it for a good few months now since IE started playing up. I have done an automatic update today and IE does seem to be funning faster but I'll check that out as well.

I run an online store and every time I try to print the invoices out it just says 'Whoops, Google chrome has crashed' and shuts me out which is a bit of a pain as I can't get the invoices to print them out. IE loads of order screen but when I try to get the invoices will not load in either.

I'll sort that tonight with the suggestions then.
  • As I suggested, it may be the script behind the web page that's causing the crash... ask your script-writer! or change scripting software perhaps...

It's crashing on everything I've tried to print from DC Dan, just that this is the most important thing I need it for.
