LX Direct- £10 off + Free Delivery for new customers

used code and got the nintendo wii nunchuck controller
for a £5 delivered, code worked great

Just called LX direct and they said that the code wasnt available if you paid with a card it is just if you open an acount are they telling me the truth?

be dead annoyed if thats the case. link in 1st post says £10 off first order NOT £10 off when you open an account. doesnt say that anywhere. i'll be fighting this if i dont get the discount.

My order arrived today along with a delivery note for the full amount. They have not answered my e-mail yet - asking why they have charged me the full amount - when it appeared at first that the code I used for £10 off and free delivery had been accepted.

They are quick to deliver, but very slow to reply to e-mails. Although I am happy with my purchase I will try my best to get the discount off them. After all, I have a printout of my order showing the discount, so I am hoping they will honour it.

Good luck to everyone else who is trying to get their discount!

I've just logged in to track my order and it won't be here till the 16th December so I'm going to have to wait a while to find out.

The price confirmed, by email, after I ordered included the discount but the value of items for posting is the full amount (that could just be for postal insurance though).

My credit card hasn't been deducted yet but I'll keep an eye on it an let you know what happens here.

My goods have arrived and the credit card payment gone out; much sooner than the 16th December I was advised originally.

I'm happy to say, while they took the full price, they also refunded the discount. Different transactions but the effect was the same; £10 for a DS Lite browser

Also ordered Happy Feet Playstation game in my husbands name and received it for £20 delivered (took the full amount and refunded £13.50), and interactive FiFi in my mum's name for £14.99 delivered. So if everything get delivered in time I've saved £30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

I just placed an order with the codes in this thread & saved £29.
On the receipt they gave me a new code
XX084 = 10% off £50

It says at the bottom 'this voucher can only be used once per customer', but it doesn't give a time limit or anything, so don't know how long it'll stay valid for.

Since I won't be using it, hopefully someone else can use it.
